The Wired nation knows all about tumblelogs, text-lite microblogs that include art, audio, video and not much more…

‘text-lite microblogs’ - so wait, am I doin it wrong? You know, with all this TEXT that I seem to like which leaves me quaint and maybe somewhere between seductive and pathetic, like the Blanche DuBois of blogging.
Still, I can’t make my own art/audio/video so it’s either lots of words or just become one big fat rolling reblog. Actually I quite like that idea - maybe one day ALL content will be generated by powerful AI systems and then disseminated across the interwebs by bored workshy youngsters with nothing better to do at 8.10am than click ‘i like this’ or the equivalent so the machine knows what ‘you’ like and can feed you more of it. In fact that’s all anyone who works at the BBC will do all day and the best creatives will be the ones who can discover the most amazing new material in the deepest, darkest corners of the network…
I think everyone would be very happy.
